This week's interview is simply brilliant as we get an exclusive interview with 2012 Olympic gold medallist Nicola Spirig. In this rare interview, she discusses everything from family life to studying law as well as what it's like to be coached by Brett Sutton and train with Daniela Ryf. The Swiss star is due to have her third child in Spring 2019 but tells us she intends to return for what would be an incredible 5th Olympic Games appearance at Tokyo 2020.
In this interview Nicola Spirig reveals:
*What she REALLY said to Gwen Jorgensen during the run at Rio 2016
*The difference between training alongside Chrissie Wellington and Daniela Ryf
*The reason she split from coach Brett Sutton for six months in 2008
*That she always suffers from pre-race nerves
*Why she was ready to retire after London 2012
*A switching to long distance racing isn’t her long-term goal
*Her thoughts on the prospect of being a mum of 3, competing at a record 5th Olympics in triathlon.
