Hywel Davies recently went 8.54 at IM Barcelona to win the M40 category, and was only a minute away from the overall AG win. Hywel has had a long and successful endurance career, having competed at the very top end in races as varied as Man vs Horse, Tough Guy, holder of indoor rowing and treadmill world records, as well as being a low 2.30s marathon runner. In this interview, he shares tips for staying competitive as we age, including tips on how he makes better use of his training time these days - resulting in his Ironman Barcelona performance being the exact same time as it was 8 years ago!
