Natalie Duncombe qualified for GBR representation in the first duathlon she completed. She came to multi-sport from a running background after a period of injury forced her to take up cycling and swimming as part of her injury rehab. Over the last three years, she progressed from being happy to just cross the line after a bike crash during her first ETU champs, to an AG silver medal, to an overall AG 3rd place in 2020. We hear how she balances training and work life, how she has learned to deal with stress and pressure, and how, over time, her focus has shifted from ‘race performance goals’ to ‘training process goals.’
