In 2018, Georgia Taylor-Brown burst onto the World triathlon stage, finishing 3rd overall in the WTS standings, after podiums in Leeds, Edmonton and Montreal. It was a surprise to many, but as a teenager, she had already been crowned Junior World Duathlon Champion and twice Junior European Triathlon Champion.
But then her name went off the radar for a few years as she battled with injuries.
By 2016 Georgia was back competing, but it wasn't until 2018 that she really made a name for herself on the WTS circuit and surprised herself by finishing 3rd overall, after podiums in Leeds, Edmonton and Montreal.
Georgia is a really fun guest and will have you laughing out loud.
Georgia tells us...
*About her first experiences of triathlon, which involved a borrowed bike and hand-me-down t-shirts
*How she has worked on her mindset, so she feels like she belongs on the ITU circuit
*Why she didn't believe she had finished on the 2018 WTS podium
*Why even she needs a virtual training buddy to motivate herself
