Matt Hanson recently broke the official Ironman World Record with a scorching time of 7.39.25 at Ironman Texas, a race which concluded with an epic marathon battle. Forced to run side by side for the first 25 miles with Ivan Tutukin, the two men pushed each other to the limit, resulting in the fastest ever Ironman marathon of 2.34.39 for Matt. We hear about his epic race experience, his training with coaches Julie Dibbens and Matt Bottrill, and his plans for a future assault on the Ironman World Championships.
We also catch up with Nikki Bartlett after her amazing race at Ironman Lanzarote!
